It was my GrandDad and Nana who decided to send all 3 grandsons to CSR Halkirk. I went as a camper for 5 years till I became staff in 1989. I saw how the life of Christ was shining through the Staff from the Colonel, Marshal Spike, Pic, Shake, Blue, Odie, Doc, and other staff in which I have forgotten their names but not the impact they had on my life. The life lessons I learned out at the ranch I have used in training new Drivers that are on my watch. I met my wife out there working as staff... If there was no Ranch, I would not have the Foundation of Christ in life or my wife.

CSR was what I looked forward to every summer. I was given the opportunity to hang out with people my age from every different background you can think of...it prepared me for life after school. CSR is part of the foundation that composes who I am today.

I cannot say enough about CSR... I had the time of my life for many, many summers. I started out as a rancher when I was 9 and worked as staff until my late teens. I became grounded in my beliefs over those years and I am who I am today largely in part of CSR.
